Oceana Beach Resort

Puerto Galera is a beach resort town located on the island of Mindoro, 130 km south of Manila in the Philippines. Mindoro has a strong Spanish influence dating back to 1570 when a Spanish expedition stumbled upon the resource rich island and named it ‘Mina de Oro’ or Gold Mine. These days the island is still rich in gold, which continues to be mined by the locals.
